Mitchell LUD Curbside Compost Pick Up

Bins out before 7AM (or night before)
Pick Up between 7AM - 7PM

Please do not leave bags beside the bin. Only items inside the bin will be collected.

Compost:
Grass clippings
Leaves
Weeds (without seeds)
Garden waste
Peat moss
Vegetables and fruits
Coffee grounds
Tea leaves/bags
Egg shells

What NOT to Compost:
Meat and bones
Dairy products
Wood chips or sawdust
Pet manure
Herbicide-treated grass clippings
Perennial and seed-bearing weeds
Diseased plants
Metal
Plastic
