Mitchell Compost
Open to all Mitchell Residents.
Large Compost Bin will be located at 130 Ash St (Arena) Parking Lot Saturdays from September 30 - October 28.
Compost:
Grass clippings
Leaves
Weeds (without seeds)
Garden waste
Peat moss
Vegetables and fruits
Coffee grounds
Tea leaves/bags
Egg shells
What NOT to Compost:
Meat and bones
Dairy products
Wood chips or sawdust
Pet manure
Herbicide-treated grass clippings
Perennial and seed-bearing weeds
Diseased plants
Metal
Plastic
