Agricultural Building Permits

All agricultural buildings receive their building permits through the RM of Hanover, including those in excess of 600m2.  

Building permit applications for agricultural buildings must include:

Agricultural Buildings 750 ft2 or less

  1. Completed Building Permit Application Form (found at  the bottom of this page)
  2. Site plan and drawings OR Accessory Structure Checklist (found at the bottom of this page)

Agricultural Buildings 751 - 6458 ft2

  1. Completed Building Permit Application Form (found at the bottom of this page)
  2. Site plan and drafted plan

Agricultural Buildings over 6458 ft2

  1. Completed Building Permit Application Form (found at the bottom of this page)
  2. Site plan and drawings
  3. Engineer stamped structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings, as well as associated letters of assurance from each designer. Requirements may vary depending on the project (as regulated under Part 3 of Building Code).
