MEDIA RELEASE – 12:24 p.m.
The RM of Hanover encourages our residents to report any unbarricaded road washouts and of any houses being threatened by flooding by calling our Public Works line at 204-346-7129. Reception will dispatch the public works staff to tend to any emergent situations.
Reports on flooded streets, farmland and drainage ditches running full are not considered emergencies.
Empty sandbags are available for pick up at the Hanover Public Works yard at 25145 Road 33N south of Kleefeld. Sand can be ordered privately through a local supplier for delivery.
Our Utility Operators are tending to our lift stations to ensure our sewer services continue to operate.
Please stay tuned for updates later this afternoon.
