The RM of Hanover Dust Control Program begins within two weeks following the removal of provincial spring road restrictions. Residential applications are done once per calendar year, and results vary, according to weather conditions throughout the summer and fall seasons.

Qualifying residential properties, must be located on a municipal grid roadway, and be within 100 meters from the center of the road.  Applications are approximate in length, and roughly centered in front of the residential building.

The municipality recognizes that there is an interest for dust control for residents whom do not qualify, and has made it available for purchase from the municipality.  The cost of dust control varies each year based on the cost of the product. The rate per lineal meter for 2024 is $2.55 + gst.
